Signing in with X
- QuiverSend asks X only for your public profile: id, handle, name and picture. It never sees your X password and never posts for you.
- Fees are assigned to your X account’s permanent id, not to its handle. Renaming your handle changes nothing, and someone who later takes your old handle does not inherit your earnings.
- Signing in shows what is assigned to you. Moving money needs a passkey as well.
Passkeys
A passkey is a credential stored on your device or password manager and unlocked with your fingerprint, face, device PIN or a security key. QuiverSend asks for one to:
- approve a withdrawal;
- add, change or remove a Robinhood deposit address;
- add or remove another passkey.
Each approval is tied to the exact terms on screen (the amount, the network, the destination), so it cannot be replayed for something else. Register a second passkey on another device so that losing one does not lock you out.
Deposit addresses
- Your saved addresses are stored encrypted.
- The full address is shown only to you, in a review step after you sign in. Everywhere else, including to operators, it is masked.
- A new or changed address has a waiting period before it can receive a withdrawal, which gives you time to notice an unwanted change.
If you lose every passkey
A handle can be renamed or taken over, and QuiverSend does not use email, so neither proves that you are you. Recovery therefore starts from your X account itself:
- Sign in with X on any device, open Security & passkeys and choose Request recovery. Only someone signed in to the X account your earnings belong to can send that request.
- An operator reviews the request and checks the evidence that the account is yours. Sending it changes nothing by itself; a request on a handle alone is never enough.
- When recovery starts, your sessions end and your old passkeys are removed, then your account is held for a visible waiting period (at least 24 hours) during which withdrawals and address changes are refused.
- When the hold ends you sign in with X again and register a new passkey. Your earnings stay assigned to your X account throughout.
What operators cannot do
Operators can pause routes, cancel a withdrawal that is only reserved and start recovery. They cannot edit balances, change a token’s recipient, sign in as you or see your full deposit addresses.
Keeping yourself safe
- Only enter a deposit address you copied from your own Robinhood account, on the network it names. See Robinhood deposit addresses.
- QuiverSend is independent of Robinhood and will never ask for your Robinhood login.
- Check the amount, network and masked address on every withdrawal approval before you confirm it.
